YODERS MEATS ALERT!

Hi!

Just wanted to let you know that we have a can of Yoder's Inc. Boneless Pork Loin in our earthquake
survival stores....I think this is supposed to last for about 10 years - we are at 5 years and it is
leaking from the can seam.

I tried to find contact info for the manufacturer but it was not readily available....you might want to
let people know to check their stores!

(From Bruce)  Most of you on this mailing list are NOT Yoders Meats buyers. Yoders sold their plant to
their plant manager, and he ended up destroying--and closing--the business.  We haven't sold their
products for about 8 years.  If you HAVE Yoders Meats in your food storage, it would be a good idea to
check the cans for leakage.  It's possible that Lisa just got ONE poorly-sealed can, but it's a good
idea to check your food stores periodically, in case they had an ongoing problem.

BTW, another company has recently bought the Yoders' name and is now canning meats under the Yoders'
label. We're told they contain about 25% fat. (Our canned meats are *far* leaner, more healthy and
better-tasting!)

Nancy Pelosi: The new American queen

Nancy Pelosi, Democrat from California, current Speaker of the House.  The Pentagon provides the House
speaker with an Air Force plane large enough to accommodate her staff, family, supporters, and members
of the California delegation when she travels around the country.  But, Pelosi wanted routine access to
a larger plane.  It includes 42 business class seats, a fully-enclosed state room, an entertainment
center, a private bed, state-of-the-art communications system, and a crew of 16.  Pelosi wanted "carte
blanche for an aircraft any time," including weekend trips home to San Francisco. Pretty nice but very
expensive perk!  Her Air Force C-32 costs approximately $15,000 an hour or approximately $300,000 per
trip home.

 And she has the guts to confront the Big Three CEOs for flying their corporate jets to Washington!  YOU
WOULD THINK SHE, ALONG WITH A HUSBAND WORTH AN ESTIMATED BILLION DOLLARS, WOULD LEASE OR BUY AND FLY
THEIR OWN PLANE, OR FLY FIRST CLASS ON COMMERCIAL AIRLINES LIKE OTHER RICH PEOPLE.

NANCY PELOSI FACTS:

 Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi's home district includes San Francisco.  Star-Kist Tuna's
headquarters are in San Francisco, Pelosi's home district.  Star-Kist is owned by Del Monte Foods and is
a major contributor to Pelosi.  Star-Kist is the major employer in American Samoa employing 75% of the
Samoan workforce..

 Paul Pelosi, Nancy's husband, owns $17 million dollars of Star-Kist stock.  In January, 2007 when the
minimum wage was increased from $5.15 to $7.25, Pelosi had American Samoa exempted from the increase so
Del Monte would not have to pay the higher wage.  This would make Del Monte products less expensive than
their competition's.

 Last week when the huge bailout bill was passed, Pelosi added an earmark to the final bill adding $33
million dollars for an 'economic development credit in American Samoa.'

 Pelosi has called the Bush Administration "CORRUPT" !!

Department of Justice Files Brief Against Defense of Marriage Act

This week, the U.S. Department of Justice shockingly, at the President's order, filed a legal brief
expressing condemnation of the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA), stating that the administration "does not
support DOMA as a matter of policy" and that it "should be repealed by Congress."  It is the sworn duty
of the Department of Justice to defend this law, yet they are clearly trying to encourage the judge to
destroy it!

DOMA is the federal law that defines marriage as between one man and one woman for purposes of all
federal law, and protects states from being forced to recognize gay "marriages" performed in other
states.  It was signed into law in 1996 by President Clinton after it was passed by a wide margin in
both the U.S. House and Senate.  If the court were to strike down DOMA, it would open all states to
attack. Please email the White House and your congress-critters and let them know that you do not
approve of the attempt to repeal DOMA.

(In 1994, when Hillary Clinton was touring the country pushing Bill's healthcare plan, I attended the
Arlington, Texas, appearance with a couple of hundred other protestors.  But, I wore a "costume".

(I bought one of those blue, plastic, 55-gallon water barrels, cut out the top and bottom with a jigsaw,
attached two thick pieces of rope to the top edge ... to go over my shoulders, donned nothing but shoes
and shorts, and attended the event as "the naked guy in the barrel".  I carried a large sign-on-a-stick
that stated "this is what government-run healthcare would do to me".

(That was my "15 minutes of fame", earning a picture in the paper [I was the only one in costume] and
the other protesters were so kind as to shield my lily-white skin from the Sun with their umbrellas.  I
could also tell you about the 2 government agents-provocateur in the crowd who tried to get us to clash
with police, but that's another story.

(This time around, they're not sending out the president's wife to try to convince us to socialize
healthcare, so I can't do it again. Join the other 1.1 million, and sign the petition ... and please

A resident's comments about Obama's visit to Montana...

This is from a woman who lives in Bozeman, Montana.  Thought you would be interested in the truth about
how BHO's visits are orchestrated. Her husband is a former Navy pilot and Delta Airlines captain.
 
 
Hello All,
 
By now you have probably heard that President Obama came to Montana last Friday. However, there are many
things that the major news has not covered. I feel that since Bill and I live here and we were at the
airport on Friday I should share some facts with you. Whatever you decide to do with the information is
up to you. If you choose to share this email with others I do ask that you DELETE my email address
before you forward this on.
 
On Wednesday, August 5th, it was announced locally that the President would be coming here. There are
many groups here that are against his takeover of healthcare and huge spending so those groups began
talking and deciding on what they were going to do. The White House would not release ANY details other
than the date.
 
On about Tuesday, Bill found out that they would be holding the "Town Hall" at the airport. (This is
only because Bill knows EVERYONE at the airport) Our airport is actually located outside of Belgrade
(tiny town) in a very remote location. Nothing is around there. They chose to use a hangar that is the
most remotely located hangar. You could not pick a more remote location, and you cannot get to it
easily. It is totally secluded from the public.

FYI: We have many areas in Belgrade and Bozeman which could have held a large amount of folks with
sufficient parking. (gymnasiums/auditoriums). All of which have chairs and tables, and would not have to
be SHIPPED IN!! ($$$ spent)

During the week, cargo by the TONS was being shipped in constantly. Airport employees could not believe
how it just kept coming. Though it was our President coming, several expressed how excessive it was,
especially during a recession. ($$$ spent)  
 
Late Tuesday/early Wednesday the 12th, they said that tickets would be handed out on Thursday, 9am, at
two locations and the president would be arriving around 12:30, Friday.
Thursday morning about 600 tickets were passed out. However, 1500 were printed at a Local printing shop
per White House request. Hmmmm ... 900 tickets just DISAPPEARED.

This same morning someone called into the radio from the local UPS branch and said that THOUSANDS of
Dollars of Lobster were shipped in for Obama. Montana has some of the best beef in the nation!!  And it
would have been really wonderful to buy it to help out the local economy. Anyone heard of the
Recession?? Just think...with all of the traveling the White House is doing. (more $$$) One can only
imagine what else we are paying for.
 
On Friday, Bill and I got out to the airport about 10:45am. The groups that wanted to protest Obama's
spending and healthcare had gotten a permit to protest and that area was roped off. But that was not to
be. A large bus carrying SEIU (Service Employees International Union) members drove up onto the area
(illegally) and unloaded right there. It was quite a commotion and there were specifically 2 SEIU men
trying to make trouble and start a fight. Police did get involved and arrested the one man, but they
said they did not have the manpower to remove the SEIU crowd. 

The SEIU crowd was very organized and young. About 99% were under the age of 30 and they were not
locals!  They had bullhorns and PROFESSIONALLY made signs. Some even wore preprinted T-shirts. Oh, and
Planned Parenthood folks were with them.....professing abortion rights with their T-shirts and
preprinted signs.  (BTW, all these folks did have a permit to protest in ANOTHER area.)
 
Those against healthcare/spending moved away from the SEIU crowd to avoid confrontation. They were
orderly and respectful. Even though SEIU kept coming over and walking through, continuing to be very
intimidating and aggressive at the direction of the one SEIU man.
 
So we had Montana folks from ALL OVER the state with their homemade signs and their DOGS with homemade
signs. We had cowboys, nurses, doctors you name it. There was even a guy from Texas who had been driving
through. He found out about the occasion, went to the store, made a sign, and came to protest.
 
If you are wondering about the press ... Well, all of the major networks were over by that remote hangar
I mentioned. They were conveniently parked on the other side of the buildings, FAR away. None of these
crowds were even visible to them. I have my doubts that they knew anything about the crowds.

We did have some local news media around us from this state and Idaho. Speaking of the local media ...
they were invited. However, all questions were to be turned into the White House in advance of the
event. (Wouldn't want anyone to have to think off the top of their head.)
 
It was very obvious that it was meant to be totally controlled by the White House. Everything was
orchestrated, down to the last detail, to make it appear that Montana is just crazy for Obama and
government healthcare. Even those people that talked about their insurance woes ... the White House
called our local HRDC (Human Resource and Development Committee) and asked for names. Then the White
House asked those folks to come. Smoke and mirrors ... EVERYTHING was staged!!
 
I am very dismayed about what I learned about our current White House. The amount of control and
manipulation was unbelievable. I felt I was not living in the United States of America, more like the
USSR!!  I was physically nauseous.  Bill and I have been around when Presidents or Heads of State visit.

It has NEVER been like this. I am truly very frightened for our country. America needs your prayers and
your voices. If you care about our country please get involved.  Know the issues.  And let Congress hear
your voices again and again!!  If they are willing to put forth so much effort to BULLY a small town,
one can only imagine what is going on in Washington DC.  Scary!!

(I can't verify that the following was actually written by Dr. Vaknin, but *he's* real and an expert on
narcissism.  It *sounds* genuine.)

Dr. Shmuel (Sam) Vaknin has a Ph.D from Pacific Western University.  He has a background in finance and
politics, as well as in mental health.  He has written and published extensively about narcissism. 

Below are his comments on Mr. Obama’s apparent narcissism:
 
Dr. Vaknin States "I must confess I was impressed by Sen. Barack Obama from the first time I saw him. 
At first I was excited to see a black candidate.   He looked youthful, spoke well, appeared to be
confident - a wholesome presidential package.  I was soon put off, not just because of his shallowness
but also because there was an air of haughtiness in his demeanor that was unsettling.  His posture and
his body language were louder than his empty words.  Obama's speeches are unlike any political speech we
have heard in American history.  Never a politician in this land had such quasi ‘religious’ impact on so
many people.

The fact that Obama is a total incognito with zero accomplishments, makes this inexplicable infatuation
alarming.  Obama is not an ordinary man.  He is not a genius. In fact he is quite ignorant on most
important subjects.  Barack Obama is a narcissist.

Dr. Sam Vaknin, the author of the Malignant Self Love believes "Barack Obama appears to be a
narcissist."  Vaknin is a world authority on narcissism.  He understands narcissism and describes the
inner mind of a narcissist like no other person.  When he talks about narcissism everyone listens. 
Vaknin says that Obama's language, posture and demeanor, and the testimonies of his closest, dearest
friends suggest that the Senator is either a narcissist or he may have narcissistic personality disorder
(NPD).

Narcissists project a grandiose but false image of themselves. Jim Jones, the charismatic leader of
People's Temple, the man who led over 900 of his followers to cheerfully commit mass suicide and even
murder their own children was also a narcissist.  David Koresh, Charles Manson, Joseph Koni, Shoko
Asahara, Stalin, Saddam, Mao, Kim Jong Ill and Adolph Hitler are a few examples of narcissists of our
time.  All these men had a tremendous influence over their fanciers. They created a personality cult
around themselves and with their blazing speeches elevated their admirers, filled their hearts with
enthusiasm and instilled in their minds a new zest for life.  They gave them hope!  They promised them
the moon, but alas, invariably they brought them to their doom.

When you are a victim of a cult of personality, you don't know it until it is too late.  One determining
factor in the development of NPD is childhood abuse.  "Obama's early life was decidedly chaotic and
replete with traumatic and mentally bruising dislocations," says Vaknin. "Mixed-race marriages were even
less common then.  His parents went through a divorce when he was an infant (two years old).  Obama saw
his father only once again, before he died in a car accident.  Then his mother re-married and Obama had
to relocate to Indonesia, a foreign land with a radically foreign culture, to be raised by a step-
father.  At the age of ten, he was whisked off to live with his maternal (white) grandparents.  He saw
his mother only intermittently in the following few years and then she vanished from his life in 1979.
She died of cancer in 1995."

One must never underestimate the manipulative genius of pathological narcissists.  They project such an
imposing personality that it overwhelms those around them.  Charmed by the charisma of the narcissist,
people become like clay in his hands.  They cheerfully do his bidding and delight to be at his service. 

The narcissist shapes the world around himself and reduces others in his own inverted image.  He creates
a cult of personality.  His admirers become his co-dependents. Narcissists have no interest in things
that do not help them to reach their personal objective.  They are focused on one thing alone and that
is power.   All other issues are meaningless to them and they do not want to waste their precious time
on trivialities.  Anything that does not help them is beneath them and does not deserve their attention.
If an issue raised in the Senate does not help Obama in one way or another, he has no interest in it.  

The "present" vote is a safe vote.  No one can criticize him if things go wrong.  Those issues are
unworthy by their very nature because they are not about him.  Obama's election as the first black
president of the Harvard Law Review led to a contract and an advance to write a book about race
relations.  The University of Chicago Law School provided for him a lot longer than expected and at the
end it evolved into, guess what?  His own autobiography!  Instead of writing a scholarly paper focusing
on race relations, for which he had been paid, Obama could not resist writing about his most sublime
self.  He entitled the book Dreams from My Father.

Not surprisingly, Adolph Hitler also wrote his own autobiography when he was still a nobody.  So did
Stalin.  For a narcissist, no subject is as important as his own self.   Why would he waste his precious
time and genius writing about insignificant things when he can write about such an august being as
himself?  Narcissists are often callous and even ruthless.  As the norm, they lack conscience.  This is
evident from Obama's lack of interest in his own brother who lives on only one dollar per month.  A man
who lives in luxury, who takes a private jet to vacation in Hawaii, and who has raised nearly half a
billion dollars for his campaign (something unprecedented in history) has no interest in the plight of
his own brother.  Why?  Because, his brother cannot be used for his ascent to power.  A narcissist cares
for no one but himself.

This election is like no other in the history of America. The issues are insignificant compared to what
is at stake.  What can be more dangerous than having a man bereft of conscience, a serial liar, and one
who cannot distinguish his fantasies from reality as the leader of the free world?  I hate to sound
alarmist, but one is a fool if one is not alarmed.  Many politicians are narcissists. They pose no
threat to others...  They are simply self-serving and selfish.  Obama evidences symptoms of pathological
narcissism, which is different from the run-of-the-mill narcissism of a Richard Nixon or a Bill Clinton,
for example.  To him reality and fantasy are intertwined.

This is a mental health issue, not just a character flaw.  Pathological narcissists are dangerous
because they look normal and even intelligent.  It is this disguise that makes them treacherous.  Today
the Democrats have placed all their hopes in Obama.   But this man could put an end to their party.  The
great majority of blacks have also decided to vote for Obama.  Only a fool does not know that their
support for him is racially driven.  This is racism, pure and simple.

The downside of this is that, if Obama turns out to be the disaster I predict, he will cause widespread
resentment among the whites.  The blacks are unlikely to give up their support of their man.  Cultic
mentality is pernicious and unrelenting.  They will dig their heads deeper in the sand and blame Obama's
detractors of racism.  This will cause a backlash among the whites.  The white supremacists will take
advantage of the discontent and they will receive widespread support.  I predict that in less than four
years, racial tensions will increase to levels never seen since the turbulent 1960's

Obama will set the clock back decades... America is the bastion of freedom.  The peace of the world
depends on the strength of America, and its weakness translates into the triumph of terrorism and
victory of rogue nations.  It is no wonder that Ahmadinejad, Hugo Chavez, the Castroists, Hezbollah,
Hamas, the lawyers of the Guantanamo terrorists and virtually all sworn enemies of America are so
thrilled by the prospect of their man in the White House.

America is on the verge of destruction.  There is no insanity greater than electing a pathological
narcissist as president.



Whether you are an Obama fan, or not, EVERYONE IN THE U.S.. needs to
know....

Something happened... H.R. 1388 was passed yesterday, behind our
backs. You may want to read about it.. It wasn't mentioned on the
news... just went by on the ticker tape at the bottom of the CNN
screen.

Obama funds $20M in tax payer dollars to immigrate Hamas Refugees to
the USA. This is the news that didn't make the headlines...

By executive order, President Barack Obama has ordered the expenditure
of $20.3 million in "migration assistance" to the Palestinian refugees
and "conflict victims" in Gaza.

The "presidential determination", which allows hundreds of thousands
of Palestinians with ties to Hamas to resettle in the United States,
was signed on January 27 and appeared in the Federal Register on
February 4.

Few on Capitol Hill, or in the media, took note that the order
provides a free ticket replete with housing and food allowances to
individuals who have displayed their overwhelming support to the
Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) in the parliamentary election of
January 2006.

Let 's review....itemized list of some of Barack Obama ' s most recent
actions since his inauguration:

His first call to any head of state, as president, was to Mahmoud
Abbas, leader of Fatah party in the Palestinian territory.

His first one-on-one television interview with any news organization
was with Al Arabia television.

His first executive order was to fund/facilitate abortion(s) not just
here within the U.S., but within the world, using U.S. tax payer
funds.

He ordered Guantanamo Bay closed and all military trials of Muslim detainees
halted.

He ordered overseas CIA interrogation centers closed.

He withdrew all charges against the Muslim masterminds behind the USS Cole
and the "terror attack" on 9/11.

Now we learn that he is allowing hundreds of thousands of Palestinian
refugees to move to, and live in, the US at American taxpayer expense.

These important, and insightful, issues are being "lost" in the
blinding bail-outs and "stimulation" packages.

New Government Program: CASH FOR CODGERS

Democrats, realizing the big success of the President's "Cash For
Clunkers" rebate program, have revamped a major portion of the Obama
Nationalization - Health Care Plan.

President Obama, Speaker Pelosi, and Sen. Reid are expected to make this
major announcement at a joint news conference later this week. I have
obtained an advanced copy of the proposal which is named....

"CASH FOR CODGERS" and it works like this... Couples wishing to access
health care funds in order to pay for the delivery of a child will be
required to turn in one old person on the day of delivery. The amount
the government grants them will be fixed according to a sliding scale.
Older and more prescription-dependent codgers will garner the highest
amounts.

Special "Bonuses" will be paid for those submitting codgers in targeted
groups, such as smokers, alcohol drinkers, persons 10 pounds over their
government-prescribed weight, and any member of the Republican Party.

Smaller bonuses will be given for codgers who consume beef, soda, fried
foods, potato chips, lattes, whole milk, dairy products, bacon, cheese,
ice cream or Girl Scout cookies.

All codgers will be rendered totally useless via a toxic injection,
similar to that given to the engines of the 'clunker' trade ins. This
will insure that they--like the vehicle 'clunkers'--are not secretly
resold (traded in) or their body parts harvested to keep other codgers
in repair and among society.

Judging by this I should be gone soon. I'll miss you guys...
