[BPSF] Aaarghh! Too many replies!
Staying prepared for any emergency .... > Best Prices Storable Foods Newsletter

Sorry to intrude on your time, but I just don't have time to respond to all of you regarding my Oct. 2 note.  Here's what I've been sending out to the HUNDREDS of you who have written back....

Thanks for your email, (your name here).  Between the 2 emails (Oct. 1 and 2) I've lost about 35 subscribers out of 4,980+.  The exact number is hard to establish because, on average, 6 people a day *subscribe to* the newsletter.

Three people told me they unsubscribed.  The rest went away silently.

The part about "this will probably earn me unsubscribe requests" was just an aside ... but that statement has caused more of you to respond than ANYTHING I've said in any newsletter to date.

FYI, every time I mention anything political in my monthly mailing, a few people unsubscribe.  And, if you read our OUR CUSTOMERS ARE SAYING Page ( http://www.internet-grocer.net/cust-say.htm ), you'll see where people have written to say they won't buy from us because of my political views.  That's OK.  For each of *them*, there are six of YOU who buy *because* of our--or my--political and religious views.  (Besides, I'm not real interested in provisioning leftists, anyway....).  I started BPSF in 1994 because of political reasons.  Read http://www.internet-grocer.net/company.html for the story.

My political views are a way to keep my list "clean", it appears. (Frankly, I'm puzzled at WHY those folks subscribed in the first place.  It's obvious they didn't look around much on our website!)

Now--hopefully--I can leave ya'll alone for the rest of the month....)

God bless all of you!  Stay safe.

that lil' ol' newsletter writer, me (Bruce)
