On Sarah Palin resigning:

I've given this some thought, and I *think* I know why she's resigning as governor of Alaska so suddenly.
She's not one to run from a fight (her spokeswoman said, "she usually runs INTO fights"), so I don't
think it's because of all the frivolous lawsuits she's faced since the election.

I think she's been recruited/enlisted to campaign on behalf of [conservative] house seats for the 2010
elections. She can't do this AND fill out her term as governor.  She needs to get out *now* to
accomplish this.  There's only 1 year and 3 months left.  And, our only hope of slowing down the Obama
Marxists is to win back a majority of conservatives in the House of Representatives.  (Remember, only 8
votes lost us the vote on Cap and Trade in the House.
) Her popularity might make this strategy work.
(That is, if ACORN hasn't gained all the power.)

This will also give her more grass-roots exposure for a future presidential run....

Stop the "Real ID" Act, S.1261 (worth watching!):

The latest article on BEHIND THE HEADLINES tells you how Obama's government lawyers are trying to
sabotage Kerchner v Obama, et al.  One of the lawyers argued that ... while the 1st Amendment guarantees
people the right "...to petition the government for a redress of grievances ... this right to petition
does not include a corresponding right to a response." She continued that people do not have "... a
constitutional right to force the government to listen to their views ... the Constitution does not
grant to members of the public generally a right to be heard by public bodies making decisions of
policy."

In the view of the US Attorney, the 1st Amendment only allows you to petition the government, but it's a
one sided arrangement that does not require the government to listen ... or respond.  Folks, we have a
serious problem on both ends of Pennsylvania Avenue.  If nothing else, this article will make you think.
And when you do, compare the historic parallels.  If you're going to a Tea Party tomorrow ... take as
many copies of this article as you can.  If you aren't going, send this article to someone who is.  When
you read it you will see why.

'Til next time, God bless you, and stay safe!
